GENERAL RULES
❖ The staff have your back no matter what - if you have any questions or comments about Never Back Down, come talk to us and we can help you resolve just about anything with our wisdom!
❖ You are not the only person here, so don't be arrogant or highly conceited. It's no fun for everyone else when you're the only one who gets their way.
❖ No bullying! I don't care who you are or what you want, if you're picking on another person, regardless of whether either of you are members of the site, you will be removed immediately.
❖ We do not tolerate inactivity, the end. Stay active and you will be happy ~ don't and you'll be facing deletion, simple as that.
❖ Images that stretch the page will be removed immediately no questions asked, so don't complain. Simply re-size the image, and put it back up.
❖ The spell check is a great function. Use it well.
❖ Don't steal a single thing you see on NBD if it doesn't belong to you. Everyone put tons of effort into the site to make it look great, so don't take it away from us!
❖ Use your head. 'Nuff said.

CREATION RULES
❖ It's been said before, but we'll say it again: Mary Sues and Gary Stus will not be tolerated. Everyone has a weakness except for dark/ghost pokemonz, deal with it.
❖ If you create a character, you're expected to stay as active as you can be. We understand that people have lives, but so do we, and we're not going to waste our lives on looking over bios for members who are just going to leave once they've been accepted.
❖ No bullying! I don't care who you are or what you want, if you're picking on another person, regardless of whether either of you are members of the site, you will be removed immediately.
❖ Don't abuse your rights to have pokemon ~ if you're making a starting trainer, they're not going to be dragging a huge-ass Samurott around the region - at least, not in the beginning.

IN CHARACTER RULES
❖ We have no word limit, however, know that you should be aiming for a few good, solid paragraphs with substance each time you post.
❖ Don't post bullshit threads just to raise your post count. That's annoying and cheating.
❖ Stay in character!
❖ Don't center-align ( [center][/center] ) your posts. It's frustrating for many readers.
❖ I hate to be picky, and most people do this, but it would be absolutely lovely if everyone would please post in the third person past tense. No "I did ___" or "he hit me"s should be sliding into posts anywhere in character =0
❖ Don't be lazy. Use proper grammar.
❖ We don't powerplay, we expect you not to do it, either.
