Cyril is as most would think in the surface. Due to his sleek and yet smart appearance and his usage of spectacles he's quite the bookworm and enjoys tales whether farfetched or wide with truth. He's particularly fond of asserting his knowledge in various situations even in social talk. Cyril is an intelligent soul for his age, and prefers to keep things civil even if he's battling. Thus, out of the group of Elite Four Cyril remains the most strategic and the most cooperative to accept his defeat should it come. Despite his rather aloof scholarly qualities, Cyril has a softspot for a few things and actually shows his appreciation for them.

Cyril tends to take things in stride and shows much patience. He knows life is short, but at the same time he'd rather take things slowly and with his own pace than be rushed. He spends most of his time looking up new books and reading them and doesn't like anyone interrupting him unless its a close friend or if its dreadfully important. He believes that Pokemon are a bit more easy to get along with and enjoy their company especially with his Chandelure. His patience has won him the trust of many people and his Elite Four brethern. He's often the buff they go to for anything that concerns a question since usually he'll know the answer.

Cyril is truthworthy and unlike his practical 'Counterpart' of the Elite Four Lyle who uses his acts of ill persuasion of manipulation Cyril is more the honest type and hardly likes or wants to manipulate people. Instead, he's perfectly fine with both being honest and humble albeit a bit blunt and hard to approach at times. When he's around people he's close to however he opens up a bit more and even jokes a little. But most times when he has such an apathetic or bored expression on it's nice to see a rare smile place itself on his lips to considerably brighten his handsome features.

Cyril tends to think and analyze quickly, and believes that Ghost types are his preference until the day he dies. He also believes that every situation can be handled logically and with words...not by so much violence. The act of throwing away ones pokemon so carelessly twenty years ago really ruffled him up even if he wasn't born then. Ever since he was young he always took care of his pokemon and treated them with care.

Lastly, Cyril is firm, loyal, and dedicated to whomever manages to become close with him. He feels it would be his duty to protect and preserve the bonds he makes. Whether they are pokemon or human.

LIKES: Cyril likes a few things, most notably Celestial tower, the color gray, Litwick (And Ghost types in general), haunted places, legends and tales, and books.

DISLIKES: Now, Cyrils dislikes many things, but these are a few: Impatience, overly loud places, even louder music, overconfident people, and bright colors.

HOBBIES: Visiting Celestial Tower, reading and writing, polishing his Escavalier.

AMBITIONS: To meet and befriend Giratina, and to continue trying to prove that trainers can show their love and care for pokemon more openly.

FEARS: Spider Pokemon (Though that one little spider pokemon in Unova doesn't seem to affect him), and losing his pokemon.
