Bright sunny morning, the rays from the sun dawning down on a mansion near the outskirts of the town. The sounds of pokemon stampeding through it from the first floor to the second and finally to the third is heard echoing through the empty corridors. The cries of the pokemon garbled together sounding as if they were excited.
Meanwhile, in a room on the third floor a man stood in the mirror with a lady behind him braiding his hair for him.
"Marissa, are my mom and dad home?" The young man asks, the scene not showing his face, but just his lips as he spoke.
"Yes, they said that they would not miss this for the world. They are very proud that their son is going out to venture the world." The maid behind him says softly.
"Well, they missed every other thing. I'm just a little shocked that they're here to see me off." He says in a gentle tone of voice.
"I'm done sir." The maid says letting his braided hair go and let it fall over his left should to the front.
The person looks at it and smiles. He then walks to his right to a vanity mirror, reaches out with his right hand to grab a black fedora and tosses it on. He tilts it a little and smiles happily. The young man looking to be in his late teens and quite confident. "Ah, beautiful job as usual Mari-"
Before the young man could finish his thanks to the maid, the stampede of pokemon is felt. The tremors of the ground rattled them and took the boy in shock.
Marissa laughs lightly as she knew what it was. It was as if a routine thing that they always go through. "Sir, don't look so shocked." She says as she walks to the door, opens it and as soon as she did, four pokemon floods into the room and tackles the young man onto the ground.
The young man just laughs aloud hugging the pokemon near him: Dewott, Tranquil, Lampent, and Larvesta.
"Mizutsuki, Serenitrio, Chandefique, Coronna, guys, I guess that you're happy as well huh? We're going out finally to see the world. Battle trainers around and-"
"Sir, you're really doing that? You could get arrested you know that right?" Marissa asks softly.
"Yes I do, but, its a way that people communicated back in the days. I'm sure that there are more people out there like that now. I mean, that likes to battle secretly. I want to help bring that back you know, I mean make battling and training with pokemon legal once again." The boy says softly.
"Master Orlando." A butler says at the door. "Your mother and father as well as the other members of the family and extended family are waiting at the front part of the estate."
The young man smiles and nods. "Okay, I'm on my way." He look at his pokemon friends and laughs in a refined manner. "Ready to go guys? Let's get going. This is going to be a start of our journey." He says walking out first with his pokemon following behind him.
After taking the elevator in the mansion to the first floor (really why take stairs if you have that), he ran outside and to the front where his family waited for him. They gifted him with many things that he'd need out on the road and finally with five pokeballs and a pokedex.
Orlando just stood there in shock. He was honestly surprised that his mother and father blessed him with so much to prepare him to leave the mansion to a world that he never known.
After his departure from his family, he walked up to the the entrance to the estate and places his right foot out. It touched the ground and he got chills of excitement. He finally stepped onto a new world, one where he would make his mark on.
